This stuff is AMAZING!! I think I would go through withdrawals if ever forced to stop using it. They would have to pry the bottle from my lifeless little hands!!HA!

Seriously ladies, I know some balk at the price on it but Allergan has done some wonderful things on their website with the LashPerks program often offering multiple discounts on future prescriptions, even buy one get one free sometimes!

In some states this can be dispensed from a doctor's office but in Texas you must obtain a prescription for it. (Dr. K handles that in our office.)

During your consultation you will be instructed on how to apply the product. It's important to follow the directions.

Most people see a slight difference in a couple of weeks that just gets better and better from there. Length comes first, then you will see lashes thicken, followed lastly by darkening for some.

The FAQs...

Will it make my blue eyes brown?No. The disclaimer had to be put on the product as there was a small amount of darkening in people using the glaucoma medication this is derived from that is actually placed in the eye not on the lash line. On a side note: The darkening with those patients only happened in people with amber or brown flecks to their eyes.

Sensitivity?I'm sure it can happen as it can with any product. We have many patients on it though and so far everyone is doing very well! I myself have sensitive eyes and have been using it for almost two years, no problems whatsoever!

What happens if I stop using it? Your lashes will continue through a natural shedding process and slowly return to their pre-Latisse state.

In an attempt to gain more exposure and build business, I have been encouraged to add a blog to our website. So here goes...

My name is Amy and I'm a "product junkie".

You name it, I've tried it. If it promises smoother skin, shinier hair, lifting, firming, anything at all, I'll buy it!

My plans so far are to make this a place for me to review such goodies and give you the low down on what works and what doesn't. I would love input from other beauty addicts as well. I only have so much skin to try these things on and being a tad on the sensitive side it does get old to be in a Benadryl stupor from some of my attempts to stay youthful and radiant!

I've had the pleasure of knowing some fabulous women over the last decade + of my career and they often enjoy some of the funny and not so funny encounters of being in this business. As long as I can protect the innocent I will try to throw in some of my adventures as a "Bushwacker and Zit Zapper"!

My first confession as a Beauty Junkie though must be this...I am not a writer or English Major so if I flub a spelling or punctuation please pardon it.
